Product/Reduce costs:
Large windows |

LiteZone® an additional cost advantage with large windows.
Generally other glass units tend toward smaller glass sizes. This is because larger glass units, which are not pressure equalized, are at greater risk of failing prematurely. Also when conventional triple pane glass units are used often their size is limited because of the extra weight.
For glass units that might have reduced air gaps between its layers, for example to optimize the benefit of using a low conductive gas such as krypton or xenon, the unit size needs to be limited to avoid problems with "kissing". |
Because LiteZone® provide large glass units without technical issues, windows for a given wall area can have fewer divisions in the glass. This means that less window framing and fewer glass units will be required for a given glass area. This will increase the overall insulating value and reduce costs by eliminating expensive energy inefficient framing and the expense of handling and glazing additional glass units.
LiteZone® gives designers the technical and budgetary flexibility to use large windows and generous areas of glass. |
